如何请政府官员去询问绿卡进程

如何请政府官员去询问绿卡进程

我的绿卡140申请在德州中心已经卡了2年了，其间除了录取指纹外就别无任何进展。律师询问两次也没有结果。现在实在是忍无可忍，找到一位有政府背景的朋友，她也愿意帮忙询问。可是要我停供询问联系方式，最好明确到人。
不知道有没有类似经验的朋友愿意指教与谁联系，或怎样查找联系方式。还有我的朋友不是什么参议员众议员，只是曾经在政府中作过一定的官员，当然可能她自己也应该认识一定的朋友。我不知道这样的询问会有效吗？ 谢谢。
