The key is: did you enrolled as a FULL-TIME student during that time? (full-time defined by your OISS and university policy) And if you quit or reduced course load, was it pre-authorized by OISS? If answer is no, you have lost F1 status and CPT depending on such valid F-1 is also canceled--> illegal work.
If yes, then all were authorized by OISS and you don't have any status problem and your work was authorized.
