Anyone filed a motion to USCIS

USCIS sent me a denial notice for my I485, which I believe is improper. There is no appeal provided for this decision. However, I noticed that I can file a motion to let them reconsider this decision. Does anyone have this experience before? I want to know how long it will take for the motion to process and how likely the result will be.
