F1身份和AP使用

我现在是合法学生身份， I-485 pending based on marriage. 我需要使用AP回国一趟， 请教大家， 是不是使用AP后学生身份就没了，变成AOS. 那如果I-485申请出问题， 我又是什么身份呢？ 先谢了。
