i just land usa and and my visa is j-2. Now i begin to apply EAD, but normally i have to wait 3 months to get it. So in this case, i want to go back to china during the period(my visa is 2 entries). if i leave usa, i had to hand out my current I-94 card at the entry point. and get a new i-94 when i come back. the problem is that i use my old i-94 to apply EAD, and when i leave, the INS will know that i already left usa and may not issue me a EAD.is it the true case? i also heard that the new i-94 card has the same admission number with the old one. does it denotes that it's no problem in this case? thanks！
