My friend's hu*****and came to visit her when she was here for two years. Then he got an offer and went back to China issuing his own J1. One year later, her J1 was expiring. So she went back to change her visa to J2. But remember, both her J1 and her hu*****and's J1 are all subject to the two year homecountry residency requirement. They both need a J1 waiver.
