I-485 passport stamp

Got I-485 approval courtesy notice (the official notice was sent to the lawyer and I have not received it yet), made InfoPass appointment to get passport stamped, and realized I won't get the official notice befor I go for the appointment. Question is can I take the courtesy notice instead of official notice to the appointment and get it done? Anyone has experience? Thanks!
