8老师好，我给我爱人自己填写资料申请绿卡，文件包括了I485，I131，I765，前几天收到移民局的退件，上面写的是“an  incorrect method of payment was submitted for the filling fees or your form G1651, Exemption for  paper fee payment, was not provided or is not signed”. 我递交的I485的支票是1440，I131的支票是630，I765的支票是260. 您能帮忙指导一下原因是什么吗？是我金额写错了吗？还是我支票格式没写对？我是不是应该用信用卡支付？

-The amount of the fee for each form filing is correct. Did you submit the completed and signed Form G-1651 with your payment? If no, that is a problem.

Now what you need to do is that:

1. Wait for USCIS to return your entire, original application package via mail.

2. Pay the fees online using credit card and print out the payment receipts.

If you still want to pay the fees using personal checks (payable to ""U.S. Department of Homeland Security"), you need to complete and sign Form G-1651 and provide it with your payment. You do not need to issue new checks and just send the original checks back.

3. send the original packets returned by USCIS back to USCIS, including the payment with G-1651 (paper payment-check); or payment receipt (online payment), and the USCIS Rejection Notice (USCIS will send you the Rejection Notice when they return your filing packet).
