我于2025年11月底持现在的护照（称之为“护照A"）在美墨边境续签TD获批，有了I-94(电子形式）和在护照上的TD签证印章。但是在2025年12月份，我发现护照A上出生地的汉语拼音的最后一个字母缺失了（与出生证明上的出生地的汉语拼音相比较）。于是我在2026年1月份向加拿大申请了新护照。估计在1-2个星期左右会拿到新护照（称之为“护照B"）。

1. 在递交I-130和I-485之前，我需要到美墨边境持护照B重新获得新的I-94（电子形式)并在新护照B上盖上TD签证印章吗？

-Not need. Your passport correction does not affect your I-94 validity. Provide the copy of I-94 (print it out) and the copy of the entry stamp page of the old passport for I-485 filing.

若是这样的话，我又要重新等待90天才能递交I-130和I-485。

2. 如果我不需要重新获得新的I-94（电子形式)并在新护照B上盖上TD签证印章，那么对于表格I-485，Part 1，Item 10中有关护照的信息只能使用旧护照（护照A）上的，而此时的旧护照（护照A）已经作废（因为我已经拿到了新护照B)。这样行吗？

-Put the old passport information (e.g., old passport number) there because you used it for your last entry to US.

 

另外，Nonimmigrant Visa Number Used During Most Recent Arrival (if any)就是我最近的I-94号码吗？

-No. This item does not apply to you, so leave it blank and also leave the item, "Date Non-immigrant Visa Was Issued", blank.

如果是的话，那么表格I-485，Part 1，Item 12中也使用同样的I-94号码，对吗？

3. 如果我不需要重新获得新的I-94（电子形式)并在新护照B上盖上TD签证印章，在面试时（如被要求）需要携带新护照B和旧护照A(已作废）吗？

-Only need to bring the new/valid passport for the interview.

4. 需要在I-485，Part 14提供有关更换新护照的原因说明吗？

-Not need.
