我和太太在中国出生，目前都是加拿大公民。太太持TN在美国工作已经20多年。我以前也是TN,但最近几年转为TD。儿子在美国出生，刚满21岁，准备帮我们申请依亲绿卡。目前我们都住在美国。有几个关于太太持TD工作以及如何填写I-485,Part 9,Item 12 & Item 13的问题想请教各位老师：
1. 太太在2016年8月至2017年7月期间持TD在美工作（2017年7月后转为TN)。太太和我还有资格申请依亲绿卡吗？
-Yes.
2. 若可以，持TD在美工作的时间段对40个SSA工作点有什么负面影响（因为儿子没有收入，我们只能用40个social secruity points)? SSA Earning Statements上可以显示持TD在美工作时间段的公司和收入吗？
-If you paid the SS tax (i.e., FICA tax, normally deducted from your salary by your employer), probably the income should have been listed in SSA Earning Statement. Just check it in the SSA website, anyway.
3. 若可以，如何填写I-485,Part 9,Item 12 & Item 13？
-Say "Yes" to these two Questions and then, explain it in Part 14. Additonal Information. For example, when you were in TD status, from what date to what date you worked illegally for what company (company name) and what your salary was, etc.
4. 需要补充材料解释2016年8月至2017年7月期间持TD在美工作的原因吗？
-Not need.
