两个月前，他22岁的女儿通过“随行亲属（follow-to-join）”程序获得了美国绿卡。
问题：

女儿是否可以在没有父亲陪同的情况下，独自进入美国（完成首次入境）？-Technically, the daughter can enter US without the father's accompany because the father has become a green card holder. But the problem is that if the father goes back and forth too often between US and China, or stay in China for too long time, e.g., for more than 6 months, the father might be considered to abandon the green card voluntarily by the US Customs Officer. Thus, the daughter might have trouble to enter US.

女儿的护照今年7月到期， 现在需要换发一本新护照（以保证入境时护照的6个月有效期）。但绿卡签证打在这本老护照上，入境时同时带上新旧两本护照，会有什么问题吗？-No problem. 我们需要注意并做些什么吗?-Bring both new and old passports to enter US.
