我朋友两口子当年H1b签证，递交了NIW，2009年140 approved，由于主申请人父亲病危，没等到递交485
就于2011年回国了，不过一直没有撤销他们的移民申请。他们的儿子在美国出生，现在他们的儿子在美国读高中，之前孩子的妈妈以旅游签证来美陪儿子一年半（延长过两次次旅游签证，都顺利获批），目前主副申请人均在国内，2024年3月份孩子妈妈在美国境内提交了824申请，2025年10月份他们收到了广领馆的面签通知，妈妈近期从美国回国配合主申请人在广领馆面签后，广领馆要求主申请人补充个人简历材料。
主副申请人在整个申请绿卡期间，主副申请人无任何逾期、非法等行为。
我朋友的顾虑：1）主申请人的个人简历已经在最新的DS-260中说明得很清楚，在面签时主申请人也特意准备了一份详细的个人简历给面签官看了。

2）领事馆要求的个人材料补充要求中由A~O几个问题，其中一个最敏感的问题是“你将来打算回中国工作或者在中国做研究吗”。这个问题让主申请人很纠结。
-Say "No" and explain that he plans to work in US. He needs to prepare the plan addressing what kind of job he plans to work in US (need to be his speciality area) such as work in a college (teaching and research) or work in an industry company, etc. If he is searching a job in US, he had better bring the evidence such as the communications between him and the prospective employer for the interview. If he has got a job offer from an employer in US, then bring the job offer letter.
3）现在主副申请人的10年旅游签证均被注销。
-I t is normal because they have the immigration intent.
他们托我请教一下8老师，像他们这情况的成功率有多大。
-It is hard to predict. If he can get a job offer in his major area from a US employer, then he has a very big chance. Otherwise, he needs to convince the visa officer that he is very confident to find a job in US and make a great contribution to US society and economy because of his excellent background and experience.
