我母亲今年春天到美，11月I94即将过期，想申请延期再住半年（80岁往返一趟不容易），才发现B2签证在8月过期了，请问这种情况还可以申请延期吗？请老师解答，非常感谢！

-Yes, file the I-539 application for B2 extension now befor the I-94 expiration. The B2 visa stamp expiration does not matter to the B2 status extension.
