citizenship 面试问题

请教一下8老师， 

citizenship 面试时收到 notice of continuance, 要求提供evidence of repayment with state government for state tax purpose.  现在已经补齐了州税, 也发了email request to states to get the tax clearance document, 由于距离需要提交的时间很紧， 担心来不及。 不知道如果没有及时提交会怎么样， 或者如果提供payment receipt 是不是可以。 多谢
