which 140 should I-485 follow?

Hi, I submitted two I-140 (EB1 and NIW) a couple of months ago to NSC with the help of my attorney. I want to submit 1-485 soon to save some waiting time. But I am not sure which I-140 I should follow. If one is approved and the other is rejected, and if it happens that my 485 followed the rejected I-140, is there a way I can have the 485 switch to the approved 140? Does someone have the experience or know how to do this?
