请教8老师，我父母在3月中来美探亲，当时入境给了6个月的时间。我打算在6月底为他们申请绿卡，是否不再需要延长探亲签证？

-Not need.

另外他们原来的十年签证在明年1月到期，如果那时绿卡还没办好，会有问题吗？

-No problem. But they cannot use the B2 visa to travel outside US anymore due to immigrant intent.

他们的中国护照也会在明年1月到期，在办理绿卡期间去办理新的护照会有影响吗？

-No problem.
