8老师好！我一位朋友从国内短期逗留回美后一个礼拜递交了N-400，后来一位律师告诉他，他不仅需要符合五年内居住在美国的时长规定，而且应该在回美住满3个月后才能递交，不知道这是否正确？

-Depends on how long your friend stay in China. If it is less than 6 months, nothing is worried about and do nothing. Temporary travel of short period of time does not affect the N-400 filing.

如果的确是这样，那他应该怎么办呢？
