Here is what I know

My parents went back to China at the end of November, and they bring a laptop, a destop, a camera with them. All brand new and still in boxes. They didnot pay any taxes on them.

All I heard is if the total amount (of the brand new items you bought oversea) is less than $2000, no tax.
