请教8老师，我爸爸刚拿到绿卡3个月，他下周准备回国看病。他会在国内待超过6个月，请问：

1.现在给他申请在国内停留超过6个月申请来得及吗？

-Occasionally it is OK to stay in China for more than 6 months and less than one year. 

2.他打算回国一年左右，怎么样才能再回美国呢？

-He needs to come back before his stay in China reaches one year mark. It may be too late for him to apply for the reentry permit, especially USCIS may need him to conduct the fingerpritning.
