我妈的生母在她生父去世后改嫁。她现在的名字跟继父(此人也已去世）姓。

现在的问题是，以前生活的地方可以给我妈开个证明，上面有她生身父母的信息。但姓不符，这个有问题吗？

我们要提供改名字的公证吗？

-Your mother needs to use her original name in her birth certificate (i.e., same family name as her father's) and then, she needs to provide the name change certificate.
