no finger print after 2 years

We have submitted I-485 on July 29,2002. We never get finger print notice. Texas I -485 processing date is July 11, 2002. Is it normal that we never get finger print notice after 2 years 4 months. Texas is really slow. How can we get finger print information? Thank you so much.
