我父母（80多岁了）有绿卡，因为疫情原因在中国呆了3年多，现在要回到美国与我们一起生活。我看到类似情况的贴里，8老师说，如果父母年纪大，可以在中国放弃绿卡再申请旅游签证，等父母到了美国再重新申请绿卡。

-Because there are many things uncertain if they use their green card to enter US in this case, they may face big pressure physically and psychologically at the port of entry, especailly they are in old age and may not know English well. That is why I normally suggest people like your parents to abandon their green card and then, apply for B2 visa to travel to US.

我的问题是，如果父母直接闯关，是否可行。如果入境官员比较仁慈，他们仍可以保存绿卡。

-True. Some people did it successfully, depends how lucky your parents are.

如果入境官员要求他们放弃绿卡，是否也会给他们几个月的旅游签证。

-It is possible, but not 100%. They can discuss it with the officer there and normally , the officer should agree to issue them B2 status (I-94) in this case.

这样拿到旅游签证入关后也可以再申请绿卡。不知这样是否可行？

-Yes. But your parents had better wait for 3 months after they enter US with B2 status, then you can sponsor them green card again.

入关时填写了放弃绿卡的表格，是否会对今后再申请绿卡有负面影响？

-No.
