8老师，您好。表姐家请了律师办理F4移民签证。但是律师好像不出活，当然申请过程本身很漫长，再加上疫情的关系，现在case的进展完全不知道下一步会是什么时候。

前几天case reopened了，但是发现她女儿原来在上面的，但reopen之后不在上面了，所以需要律师去跟NVC联系，把她加上。律师说可能需要2周左右的时间，说他们有专门的渠道和NVC联系。

这是真的吗？我看到CEAC上也可以自己申请。

-You may do it by yourself in the website now. 

 

如果在CEAC上自己申请会需要很长的时间吗，比如两三个月？

-I don't think so. just add it online and get it done in a few minutes. If NVC send you the invorce to pay the fee without the kid, then contact NVC to see what happen. If the invorces include the kid, that means the kid is in the immigrant list.

这根律师的途径有区别吗？

律师真的有他们自己的专门途径？

-I don't know whether he has personal connection.
