-Because your mother's age is high, it is not convenient for her to apply for immigrant visa in China. So, she had better apply for B2 visa to enter US. Then, you can file I-130 and she can file I-485 90 days later after she enters US.

She needs to prepare the following certificates (公证书):

her birth certificate, her marriage certificate, your father's death certificate

If she had more than one marriage and divorce history, then she also needs to prepare the prior marriage certificate and divorce certificate.

You also need to prepare your personal birth certificate.
