1.F1 毕业opt是3个月还是1年

a. 我的理解是： 毕业以后一年时间opt, 期间要开始申请h1b, 然后等明年三月h1b抽签.

b. 有人理解是毕业以后三个月找工作， 找到以后再是1年的OPT

哪个理解是对的？

-You need to ask the International Student Office to extend your I-20 for OPT (i.e., request OPT for you in SEVIS) and had better do it before you graduate, then you need to file I-765 with the extended I-20 to USCIS for OPT EAD application within 90 days from the date you graduate/complete the program study. 

 

Then, you need to find  a job related to OPT within 90 days from the date your OPT EAD is approved. This job can be full-time, part-time or volunteer.

Talk to your International Studednt Office and they know it very well.

 

2. 延迟OPT开始时间

现在工作不好找， 我想尽量延期OPT开始时间， 最多能延迟多少， 而又能保持身份呢 ?
