8老师，我的朋友想申请入籍，他有两次misdemeanor, 但是都dismissed 了， 最近的是7年以前， 不知是否需要移民律师的法律帮助去申请入籍，多谢了。

-I don't think it it is a problem becuase the cases were dismissed and it occurred more than 5 years ago. Tell the truth in the application and provide all of the related documents including the court decisons on the cases.
