Aplly Temp Visa to Canada

Hi, All:
I am in H-1 and plan to take parents to Canada for a vacation. I guess that I need a Temporary Visit Visa. Do my parents have to go with me to appear in front of the Canada consulate? I certainly will bring every bit of "necessary" documents. Thank you very much.
