上次请教您的问题，我女儿给我申请绿卡，但我要带着儿子一起，所以她先给我申请，我可以先带儿子用B2进入，然后再485儿子，延续I94。这样有个问题，儿子还在小学，如果等待期间上公立学校，据说会影响日后他的绿卡。请教您是否有这个说法，感谢您。
-Your kid has to change his B2 status to F1 status to study at a school after he enters US using B2 visa.  It is violation of status rule for B2 holder to study at a school in US and thus, it will affect his green card application. After he changes his B2 to F1 status, he can go to a private school to study. F-1 holder is not allowed to study at a public elementary school based on the immigration law.
