对于这个SS retirement benefit， 我认真读了SSA 关于living abroad的章节， 我的理解是如果我LD即使没有绿卡， 但人Physically 在美国， 那么他可以have 他交的那份SS retirement benefits. 如果他人在中国， 就不行。因为中美没有ｓｓａ 之间的treaty。 （韩国， 日本。。 等２５个国家好像可以）。 这是我理解的SSA Rule。
