第一次被拒是因为没有递交I944，但后来I944不需要了，所以我加了封cover letter原封不动地重新递交了之前的申请。（多谢8老师之前的帮助！）

结果这一次被拒说是filed on an outdated form，原来I485表格换版本了

我准备尽快重新递交，因为spouse最近失业了，需要EAD卡找工作。

不过两次拒信中还有一个奇怪的原因"payment ammount is incorrect, or has not provided"。

我个人没有其它附加的申请，但spouse同时提交了765和131。

我付的是个人支票，两张支票，每张支票$1225，标注了申请人姓名，也写了for I485 application & Biometric fee. 第一次我以为是因为支票没有按USCIS网站上要求的格式填写，所以第二次很仔细地填了支票，但还是说incorrect ammount。

我在网上查了很久，发现可能是spouse的765 EAD申请表格表格上的category写错了。他是副申请人填的是(c)(36)。

 

这里是不是应该填(c)(9)?

-Yes, it is (c)(9) which is the category for all I-485 based EAD cases. There is not filing fee for the EAD and AP applications in your case. So, the fee of $1225 is correct. 

但是即使如此，为什么我的申请也会有incorrect ammount这样的错误呢？-If you filled (c)(36) for the EAD category, then you need to pay the filing fee of $410. But actually your EAD category is (c)(9).

还有就是，现在这样的形势下，过去学生时代的党员身份对485转身份有影响吗？

-Hard to say due to the hostile atmosphere between China and US in these days. I think it is case by case.
