请教8老师，现在准备给父母办绿卡，他们当年结婚时没有办结婚证，是后来补办的，补办的结婚年份不是实际的年份，比我的出生年份还晚，请问这种情况可以直接办绿卡吗？不知道有没有类似情况？还是要去改时间？非常感谢老师的回答！

-If their marriage date was much later than your birth date, then USCIS may ask you to provide more documents to prove that your father raised you up until your 18th birth date, such as paid your tuition, evidences that you were living together with your father, etc. So, if possible your father had better re-do the marriage certifcate to make sure the marriage date was earlier than your birth date.
