请问8老师，网上申请换发新绿卡的问题:

4个月前替父母网上申请换发新绿卡，因为疫情延迟，现在还在等打指纹通知。现在的绿卡12月初到期，如果到时还没申请到新绿卡，有没有其它的办法或者政策可以临时在新旧绿卡之间过度一下?
