请教老师，母亲2019年9月来美，2020 年2月由于疫情办延期，由于疫情，打指纹被延后到2020年9月24日，10月5日延期信批准延期到9月19日。我们夏天看到移民局网站上写由于疫情原因，凡是递交延期申请的在美人员可自动合法在美240天。我们计算应该是2020年11月19日。

-Because her application was approved, this rule does not apply to her anymore. Her illegal stay is counted from the date the I-539 application for B2 extension was approved (i.e. from October 5).

收到移民局信后，我母亲看来是已经非法滞留，但整个过程1是被美国政府拖延，二是买不到回国的直飞机票。如果想要保持合法记录，请问有什么办法吗？

-Because her application ahs been approved and the I-94 has been expired, she needs to leave US as soon as possible (had better do it within 30 days). Keep the I-539 Receipt Notice and the Aapproval Notice in case she needs this documents for future B2 visa application.
