Yes, you can reschedule the appointment for the oath. You need to send the Notice of Naturalization Oath Ceremony (i.e. Form N-445) back to the USCIS Field Office where the oath takes place, and include a letter explaining why you are unable to attend the oath ceremony.
Of course, you also can withdraw the application for the US citizenship if you don't want to be a US citizen.
