我给我妹妹申请绿卡，最近收到RFE说我自己的出生公证不符合country requirements. 已经按照您的指点重新办好我的出生公证了。准备寄给USCIS.
还有几个问题想请教：
1。我又读了一遍RFE letter. 它开头有这么一句话：
Please provide the evidence on the attached page(s). Include duplicate copies if you are requesting consular notification.
RFE只是要我的一个符合新的要求的出生公证（我只给他们寄scanned copy). 我为什么要requesting consular notification 啊？ 这个和我有关系吗？
-Ignore it.
2。 在我的新的出生公证上，说我是美国公民，有我的美国护照号码。也说明我父母都过世了（deceased) - 没提我们过去的中国身份证号码。因为我们三个都没有有效的身份证号码了，这个可能是公证的标准格式吧？
-This kind of information is not required in the birth date certification. Birth certificate only needs to include: your name, your parents' names, your date of birth and the place of your birth.
3。 我倒是希望USCIS在收到我的新的出生公证扫描件后，告诉我他们收到我的补充材料了，他们会告诉我吗？
-No.
我用跟他们要confirmation 吗？-You can call them.
