1）关于职位的相同／相似性：现在是大学教员，clinical professor， 比如教 accounting。 有CPA 职称 以及 公司工作经验。I140 在201708批了。如果在大学教书满6年不想续了（校方或个人原因不一定），而 I485 EB2 已经在201908 提交，只是现在不 current，那么下一份工作找另一所学校教 accounting 应该算相同/相似。

请问重新去公司作 accounting 用CPA credentials 还算相同/相似 吗？），

Some of the USCIS regulations about job change have changed. So, you had better search for the latest information. You had better discuss it with your lawyer becuse it is  somewhat complicate. Also, you and your new employer need to file I-485 Supplement J when you change job.
