谢谢8老师! 我以为作为女儿我爸和我们住一起我就只能填864a, 非family member才填864。所以按您所说实际上是两个表我都可以填，由于我的收入不够所以填864更好对吗？是不是也可以我不填表，只是我老公填864或者864a(other dependent: son-in-law)？

-If you don't file I-864, then your spoue can file I-864 as the joint sponosor using his own income, not need I-864A in this case.

外，请问我爸填864没有收入，retired和unemployed应该怎么选呢？他没有在美国退休.
