请教8老师：
我的绿卡还有八个月到期，查了USCIS现在更新时间要9－11个月。但似乎规定说必须在过期的六个月之内才能提交申请，如早于六个月会被退回。我的问题是: 能否在过期前八个月时就递交，会被退回吗？

国内有老人，怕万一不能按时批下来如老人有意外回不了国。-Your green card can get extension for one year during the renewal pending, either at the time of biometrics collecion or get the green card stamp on your passport in the local USCIS Field Office.
