8老师，我是L-1B，在美国。孩子持L-2签证（I-94在旧护照上是7月底到期）。孩子刚换了护照，需要更新I-94. （我自己的护照和I-94不用）。 

如果我带着孩子去美加边境，马上掉头再入境美国，在CBP申请更新，有什么风险吗？

-I don't suggest you to do it (it is very risky). Actually, the passport renewal is irrelevant to the I-94. But if your child I-94 or your I-94 will  expire in this July, your child may just file I-539 within US to extend the L-2 status, and you may ask your employer to file I-129 to extend your L1B status, not need to go outside US to get the visa to come back.
