父母亲有绿卡，回中国快两年了。reentry permit 是5月中旬到期，他们原计划在4、5月份回来。由于疫情只能晚一些时候回来，这种情况该如何处理？直接入关吗还是要申请SB1 visa？
-Technically, they need to apply for the SB-1 visa to come back. But if it is just couple of months, they might just use the green card and the expired rennetry permit to come back to US, then explain it to the IO at the port of entry that they were ublabe to return to US in time due to caution to the coronavirus disease and also, they were unable to get the air ticket because nearly all of airlines flights for US are cancelled, etc. You had better contact CBP for suggestions if your parents use the expired reentry permit to come back.
