尊敬的8老师，我父亲很快就要去绿卡面试。他在美国等绿卡期间的一年里没有医疗保险，但也从来没有用过任何医疗或福利。以前来探亲也没有用过任何医疗和福利。在这周生效的新规定下，他这样的情况（目前没有医疗保险）会有影响吗？

-No. President Trump’s proclamation on immigrant health insurance requirement only applies to the green card applicants living abroad and using consular processing, not applies to the applicants who file I-485 within US.

我们应该如何准备？
