8老师，我的PD-May2016 EB2Perm(公司关门）. 现在又申请NIW.刚去年10月递出要9-12个月获批。现在是我几个问题。 （1）儿子大学一年级想实习。想把H4转换成F1. 但律师说F1有移民倾向不建议转。我咋办？
-What the lawyer said is incorrect. It is fine for your kid to change his H4 status to F1 status. Your I-140 filing is irrelevant to your kid, only related to you. In other words, your kid has no immigrant intent until he files his I-485. So, just talk to his school International Student Office to do the status change.
