I just received the Approval Noitce of Re-entry Permit, stating "Valid from 1/14/2020 to 1/13/2022",

Does this mean I have to come back by 1/13/2022?

-Yes.

My plan is leaving in Apprl, 2020, and coming back in March, 2020.

What can I do to stay after 1/13/2022?

-You can return to US any time before 1/23/2022. You cannot stay outside US continuously beyond 1/23/2022. You may return to US to apply for the reentry permit again befor ethe old one expires.
