I heard I-824 form , does it fit into my son status ? if yes , it may be another option 

-Yes, you (primary applicant) can file I-824 for him to apply for the immigrant visa in Canada concurrently with your I-485 filing, but the I-824 will not be approved until after your I-485 is approved. So, he may wait for a longer time to get the green card.
