母亲在美申请绿卡，第一次指纹末过，正在等候第二次打指纹。是不是AP一定要等指纹通过才能开始处理？

-No. But your monthe had better not leave US until the fingerprinting is done. If she fails in the fingerprinting again, USCIS may ask her to provide the police clearance certificate (i.e. non-criminal record certificate) from both China and US.

如果第二次指纹还不过呢？指纹较浅，以前在海关也是采集指纹很困难。有没有办法在打指纹当时就知道指纹是否通过？要不又要等一个月才知道过不了。太耽误时间了。
