-President Trump recenlty issued a new rule to require the new immigrant needs to provide the proof of health insurance for during the immigration visa interview and whenn entering US using the immigrant visa. This rule will be effective on November 2, 2019. But I don't know whether the US Consulate and CBP will follow this rule or not. So, just contact NVC or the US Consulate ro see whether the health insurance is needed.
