请教8老师，现在申请EB2中，今年初140才批准，现在的H1b身份在今年9月就到了六年，H1b renew是8月份交上去的，还没有批下来，但是现在公司下个月要裁员，如果我要换工作，是否要等到现在H1b renew批准以后才可以转公司，如果在renew批准下来前就被裁员的话，是否就out of status，并且不能转H1b去新的公司？
-You need to get the H-1 extension approved before you get laid off (if any) because your 6-year H-1 has ended. Then, you can change the employer and do H-1 transfer using the approved I-140. You may ask your current employer to use the premium processing to get the H-1 extension approved within 15 days, thus you can feel safe. If the employer does not want to pay thye premium processing fee, you may pay it by yourself because it is very important to you to get the extension approved as soon as possible.
