尊敬的8老师：

您好！在您百忙之中打扰您。我太太去年办了re-entry permit 。今年还没有满一年。有律师告诉她说最好每年回美一次。

但是好像re-entry permit是可以两年内回美的吧？

 

两年回美一次问题不大吧？-Fine. But if she stays in China for more than one year continuously, it will disrupt her residency continuity and thus, she has to wait for another 5 years to apply for US citizenship from the day she returns to live in US.

 

另一个问题是，我太太是在新泽西办的返乡证。下一次办返乡证可以在加州办吗？

-Yes as long as you have the living address there.

如果个人不能在加州办理，那如果请加州的律师的话，可以不可以在加州办理？
