再请教您关于EAD卡和AP的申请。
1. 如果主申请人是H1b签证，在485 pending 期间，有必要申请EAD卡吗？-Not need.
2. 听说使用AP入境，会导致 H1b身份失效，那么485 pending 期间，有必要申请 AP 吗？-It is fine to use AP to travel and it does not affect the H-1B benefits such as you still can work for your current employer like the H-1b holder, not need to use EAD to work. Then, you still can do H-1B extension or transfer as usual to reinstate your H-1B status.
3. 副申请人是 H4，现在已经有EAD 卡，但是后来主申请人更换了公司，请问这种情况，副申请人递交485，还需要重新申请EAD 卡吗？-Not have to if the H-4 EAD does not expires yet. But I still suggest to apply for the I-485 based EAD, not renew the H-4 EAD, because I-485 based EAD is free so that you can save several hundred dollars..
