8老师您好！我们485一月份面试。当时的面试官没有说什么，只让我们补交了一份更新的体检材料。但绿卡没有名额，要等。 我们的材料在local office等了三个月后 转到Texas了。目前的visa bulletin上的final action date已经几个月没有变了，目前的时间和我们的priority date 大约相差四五个月。看目前的情况，不知道什么时候能有最后回复。我孩子高中马上要申请大学了。如果年底拿不到绿卡，不知道能否申请financial aid?
-If your kid wants to apply for the Federal financial aid, he/she needs to use advance parole (AP) to go out of US and return using AP and then, his/her status will be Parolee, thus he/she will be qualified for the financial aid.
